This month we’re celebrating Otley’s vibrant nightlife scene with the release of our new promotional film, Make It A Night For A Meal, A Drink, The Arts & Music.
Set to a vibrant indie-pop soundtrack, the film illustrates just a few of the things people can do on a night out in Otley.

Fabulous music events for February

We get some big names coming through Otley and they don’t get much bigger than double Ivor Novello award-winning lyricist and Squeeze legend Chris Difford who appears Otley Courthouse this Friday (February 3). We recommended begging, stealing or borrowing to get a ticket to go and see him as this promises to be a biggie.
On the same night, hip restaurant and music venue Tapas & Tunes is launching a new series of dinner dances with the regular Jazz & Blues at TNT gigs. The first one features sultry chanteuse Terri Shaltiel taking to the stage and these gigs are set to run on Fridays through February and March.
A packed start to the month sees Brotherhood of Troubadors at the Otley Labour Rooms on Saturday (February 4). Brotherhood of Troubadours brings together an ever-changing line up of respected and celebrated songwriters, in which every show is different. The performers share the stage and take turns presenting a song.

Irish music royalty comes to town the following Saturday (February 11) when legendary accordion player Sharon Shannon (above) will be going through her full repertoire of Irish traditional music, hip-hop, cajun, country, reggae and rap at the Courthouse.
On Saturday February 18, husband and wife folk duo Megson will also be at the Courthouse. Stu and Debbie Hanna have released nine albums and one EP on their own label and bring a tonne of energy to the stage. This promises to be a great gig, so don’t miss out.
Creeping into March, we couldn’t leave you this month without mentioning Woolpack Studios’ fifth Recreate a Classic Album session at Otley Social Club on Saturday March 4, and this time, ABBA GOLD will be getting the playalong/singalong treatment. This should be another fab and fun gig with dress up welcome.
