We’ve got a whole host of happenings this weekend in Otley.
First up is the Otley Beer Festival today and tomorrow at the Rugby Club on Cross Green. Both days will see a range of brilliant beers and super ciders on offer from noon to 11pm. Tickets cost £10 and entry includes a programme, a commemorative glass and £6 worth of beer tokens.
Moving on to Sunday, we have Farmers’ Market in Market Place from 9am to 1pm. The market is a great place to pick up local produce, all sourced from surrounding West and North Yorkshire.
Straying into Monday, we see the start of the festive season with the Christmas Lights Switch-On. Otley’s lights this year take on a new all-white look, and there will be entertainment from 5.30pm, including talented local schoolgirl Emeli Mumford (pictured). The evening will end with a bang thanks to a huge fireworks display at 7pm.
