Otley Carnival is a celebration of the town and its residents aimed at giving local children a day to remember. The event is held on the third Saturday of June every year.

The event starts with a parade setting off at around 12.30pm from Leeds Road and comprises numerous colourful floats, walking tableaux, various bands and a variety of vehicles. The Parade wends its way through the town centre and finishes on the Otley Show Field at Bridge End, where entry to the field is free!

Here the fun continues with sideshows, charity and trade stalls, children’s rides and entertainment.. The Carnival Queen is crowned, followed in Main Arena by displays and speciality acts which vary each year.
