THE Otley Family Cycling Day celebrates its 5th anniversary this year and everyone is invited to join the fun on Sunday 28 June from 10am to 2pm, at Garnetts Field, beside the beautiful River Wharfe.

Organised by Otley Town Council, this free event is a fantastic day out for all the family. Children aged 3 to 11 can get on their bikes and have a go on the specially designed cycling skills circuit.

Adults can join in with the chance to try out e-bikes and e-cargo/child carrier bikes on the flat grass area. E-bikes are available for free short-term hire (with a deposit) from the town council office at Otley Core. There’ll be plenty more happening on the day, including an activity tent with festival sticker art, free police bike marking, and stalls from Chevin Cycles, Otley Cycling Club and Otley 2030.

Bring a picnic, relax by the river, and enjoy a brilliant day!
