The clocks-a-ticking and the percolator is brewing… there’s only around eight weeks to go until Otley’s first ever coffee festival – and tickets are selling fast.

Hosted by Otley Coffee Culture, the festival – the first of its kind in Yorkshire – will be held at Otley Parish Church on April 25, 2020 and will celebrate coffee’s journey from bean to cup with a fascinating and fun-filled day focussing on all things coffee.

The Parish Church will host some 20 local, regional and national exhibitors including boutique roasters such as Leeds-based North Star and Bradford’s Casa Espresso. Teas will also get in on the act, courtesy of Hebden Tea – and Otley’s famed chocolatiers and cake-makers-to-the-stars Patisserie Viennoise will be making an appearance too.

The hub programme will feature specialist demonstrations, talks and competitions, as well as entertainment for young and old, including a headline set by the fabulous Otley Ukulele Orchestra.

As well as the festival hub at the Parish Church, a number of cafés and tearooms around the town will be taking part with special offers and events at each.

Tickets to the festival are limited to 1,000 and are priced at just £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door, with under 12s getting free entry.

Each ticket will offer access to events at the festival hub, 10 percent off at participating outlets on the festival coffee trail, and a festival programme to help plan the day.
