The Otley Town Centre Races is one of the most prestigious criteriums and a “classic” in the British racing calendar. With past winners including Tom Pidcock, (Leeds) Lizzie Deignan, (Otley) Mark Cavendish, Adam Blythe and Jonny Clay (Menston!).

Now in its 43rd year, the race in 2026 is set to carry on the long tradition of world class racing in Otley.

Approx. 2000 leaflets have now been delivered to homes and businesses around the circuit, in a joint collaboration between the Race Team organisers, Otley CC and Otley’s Sarah’s Stars.

HUZZAH! The Otley Bellman, Terry Ford, together with the town mayor will be present to “proclaim” the races open.

Otley Cycle Club is pleased to be supporting the organisers of this event, with the use of our clubhouse as race HQ, and numerous club members volunteering as Race Makers around the course.
We are also very proud to be sponsoring the Super Prestige race for under 16 girls.

Why not make an evening of it? There will be food and drink aplenty on offer, from several ‘pop up’, locally based caterers, numerous pubs, cafes, bars, and eateries situated on, and around the circuit.

Otley Cycle Club is proud to be showcasing members of our junior race team, (The Blue Train) in various races throughout the evening. Please do come along and support the riders, give them a shout out! It really does help get the riders competitive adrenaline flowing.
