Acrecliffe Equestrian Centre
Acrecliffe is a family run Equestrian Centre set in 30 acres on the outskirts of Otley, West Yorkshire. Established in 1964, we have developed to offer a range of facilities to cater for all, from the new rider to the serious competitor.
We are a training and examination centre for the Association of British Riding Schools and the British Horse Society, have instructors qualified by the Side Saddle Association and Riding for the Disabled as well as being a Pony Club centre, so can offer something to all.

North Star Yoga
Annie Raynor will run a course running over 6 sessions on Thursdays, 8/15/22/29 September and 13/20 October 7:30-8:45 pm to lead you through a rounded introduction to the practice of yoga. This is a great course for absolute beginners as well as those who would like to enjoy their yoga with a slower more mindful focus. Intention is to continue as a weekly class.

The Otley & District RDA established in 1987. We are a voluntary organisation whose aim is to provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well being. We have a dedicated committee with a wealth of experience in horse riding, instructing and caring for the disabled
Otley Angling Club
Otley Angling Club a member of the ACA control fishing on the River Wharfe from above Otley Bridge north bank to Caley Lodge on Pool Road. Otley Angling Club also run a fishing pond at Three Corner Field adjacent to Pool Road access via the Knotford Nook turn off. Otley AC waters are membership only, no day tickets are issued.
Otley Athletic Club
The club was formed in 1984 as an offshoot of Otley Rugby Club and is now independent and over the years has flourished with a large group of active members who enjoy training and competing together.
Although the club has enjoyed many successes in competition particularly in recent years, one of the main achievements has been to build a membership which includes many who simply enjoy running without ever needing to go particularly fast, or, heaven forbid, win anything. The club includes within its ranks runners of county standard, an Olympic athlete (transplant games!), a current ladies veteran world record holder and lots more who haven’t won anything but are content to take part.

Otley Rugby Club
Otley RUFC formed in 1865 and are one of the most distinguished rugby clubs in the country. Our First XV have played at the top of the National Leagues for over a decade, and many internationals have come through our Junior section including Nigel Melville and more recently Danny Care. We have hosted some memorable occasions including the North’s defeat of the All Blacks in 1979, the North versus Australia in 1988, and Italy versus the USA in the 1991 Rugby World Cup.

We promote dinghy sailing in the West and North Yorkshire regions providing sailing, power and safety boat training for members, from absolute beginners to the highest level. Non members are also welcomed on our courses.

Welcome to Grove Hill Otley Tennis Club. We are a friendly, easy going local tennis club with around 65 adult and 70 junior members. We have 4 new floodlit tarmac courts, and play social mixed doubles tennis on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons all year round.
We run coaching sessions all year round for all levels and ages plus school holiday ‘tennis camps’ and have established links with primary schools in Otley, Menston and Burley-in-Wharfedale

A community based walking group recognised for its friendly informality.We came into being in 2003 when a group of walkers decided to maintain the momentum created by the highly successful Otley Walking Festivals.Our first ever walk attracted 21 participants and today there are over 100 members drawn from Otley and surrounding localities. We are a welcoming, good humoured bunch of people who enjoy one another’s company as much as the walking itself.

Jan Bryce spent many years attending Pilates classes before taking a Nationally recognised teaching qualification in Matwork Pilates Level III – she chose to study Modern Pilates because of its strong physiotherapy content which, combined with Jan’s prior knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, gave her a broad foundation for teaching clients who came to Pilates with physical concerns.
